| Synopsis – Founding | Founded by the members of St. Domingo’s Sunday school in 1878, and playing on Stanley Park, they took on the new name of Everton the following year when membership expanded. They moved to their current home in 1892 from Anfield, which led to the founding of Liverpool FC |
