Hit the Bar Vs Ed's Dynamos
Game 12 of the 2004 summer season saw Eds Dynamos as the opposition, and a chance to get revenge for a stuffing the last time HTB had played them. There were promising signs as a 7 man squad assembled for the 8.30 kick off, including a return for Ricky Organ. HTB took an early lead, and squandered a host of chances before getting a second, but then five mad minutes saw them behind at 3-2, and a sense of worse things to come. However this is a different HTB side these days and they managed to sort themselves out and get themselves in to a 6-3 lead at half time including a 1 minute hat trick for G Man. The second half saw a commanding display of controlled football, and a half clean sheet as HTB ran out 10-3 winners.
Player Ratings
Squirrel Became the first player to reach the 50 game milestone, and celebrated by keeping a second half clean sheet, and now becomes the first player to break through the 300 point barrier with a rating of 8.
Pete Another solid defensive showing, and this time managed to get himself on the score sheet as well. 8
G Man Back to his best form, he became the second HTB player to break the 100 goal barrier, with his 4th and the last goal of the game. Could have had more, but is still searching for that elusive chipped goal. SURERANDOMALITY STAR MAN 8
Nez Got another career hat trick, but also guilty of missing some good chances as well, and managed to have a whinge free game 7.
Dancing Failed to score or get close as the added pressure of being the reigning star man got to him, didnt do anything particularly wrong, but claims the FALTERING FILLY AWARD 7
Ricky Organ Back after a few weeks away and had another solid game, linking up well and managing to grab a goal. 7.
Turkish Nailed a cracking goal from a smart turn and showed some good touches. 7
